Data Collection

When visiting web sites certain information about you and your computer can sometimes be collected. This section explains what information Chipowersports.com collect, and how it is used. If you submit the feedback form, we will collect your name and email address.

Our web server collects navigation & click-stream data data each time any file on our site is accessed.

More specifically, it collects and saves information is what is known as "Apache HTTP Server combined log format". This includes:

  • Client's IP address or hostname
  • Request date and time
  • URI of requested resource
  • HTTP request method
  • Data bytes in response
  • Response status code
  • Last URI requested by the user
  • User agent (browser) information
  • Computer operating system information

This data is used for the following purposes:

  • Completion and support of the our services
  • Web site and system administration
  • Research and development
  • Anonymous user analysis

Personal information retained will only be kept for the duration of the web design contract period.

Cookies
